There’s one very optimistic guy from the Netherlands
working on an even more optimistic project: A hotel on the moon. And here’s
what we can expect:

The Dutch architect Hans-Jürgen Rombaut and the
architects of Wimberly Allison Tong & Goo plan “The Lunatic Hotel” to open
in 2050 and they’re already heavily working on it. There’s only one problem: Generally
building a hotel requires tones of steal and water. But how to get those onto
the moon? Well, the architects even have an idea for that: They plan to use only
materials already existing on the moon.
Guests are planned to sleep in two 160 meter towers
with rooms looking like little spaceships. A two week stay is about to cost as
much as a house in very posh area, Rombaut states.
I like the way you wrote about this crazy project in a very ironic way:) I think the idea is quite interesting, but it doesn´t seem realistic.
