First of all: Merry Christmas to everyone! Secondly
and more importantly: New Years Eve is about to knock on our doors and if
you’re planning to spend it in the fabulous City of London this year, here are
my two top tips for having a stylish cocktail:

What happens when the Italian fashion Gods of Bulgari
open a hotel? Right! First of all they build a real stylish bar! That’s why “Il
Bar” located inside the new Bulgari Hotel Knightsbridge is a real eye catcher!
The décor (made of gold leaf and onyx!) happens to remember a lot of James Bond
and there’s only one motto: To see and to b seen! The classic cocktails all
have a modern Italian twist and are served with olives and fresh focaccia. So
allow yourself a great night out and throw yourself in your finest dress. And if
there’s still money after this imposing aperitif, saunter down the glamorous
stairs to “Il Ristorante”, the noble in-house Italian!
Gilgamesh

My overall favourite: Gilgamesh in Camden. Torches burning outside, the
munchies inside. As a multi-level location Gilgamesh offers bars, restaurants
and a clubbing lounge – all in a very posh Asian style. Golden shiny figurines all
part of the famous Gilgamesh epos seem to be the perfect décor and the music
simply floats you away somewhere between London and Asia. With a little luck
you will even meet a VIP celebrating a birthday party.
