The perfect holiDAY

Like every year Mr. Boyfriend and me discussed the whole spring where to spend summer holiday. I want to see as much as possible, want to climb and walk, want to discover and explore. He pretty much prefers doing nothing on holiday. Compromise turns out to be quite impossible. But then we spend a lovely “compromise vacation”, having half of a day treatments at our hotel spa and another half in nature doing lots of climbing, shooting with bow and arrows and hiking. But by the time discussing I wondered what makes a perfect day on holiday to people in general. I started researching and here’s what people think:

„If I get to see animals I only know from tv and zoos, I spend a perfect day.”

“Sitting by the ocean under a clear night sky with people, noises and soft music in the back after having a nice walk sounds like the end of a perfect day to me.”

“For spending a perfect day not the course matters, but the persons accompanying me. When I get to spend a day with my best friend or my children, then dinner can be served for breakfast, lunch can be cancelled and early-morning exercise can take place in the middle of the night.”

“A perfect day is educational, relaxing and romantic.”

„Sitting on the beach with a bottle of wine right after a tasty dinner, watching the stars and the moon and little crabs walking around seems to be quite perfect to me.”

“Sleeping as long as I want!”

„I’m curious, I don’t want to spend much time on relaxing.”

„Relaxing is more likely to do at home – not on holiday.“

„Even winter holiday can be perfect, because it’s soooo romantic.”

“Meeting foreign people, understanding different cultures, trying different food.”

„Not knowing what the day will bring. Being closely to myself.”

 „Las Vegas!“

„Having Ouzo in the evening.“

“I like creative holidays. They make me feel relaxed 100%.”

What makes a perfect day to you?

  1. A perfect holiDAY starts with a run at sunrise along the beach, followed by a rich breakfast outside, sunbathing, reading and beachvolleyball. Sitting by the bondire at night listening to friends playing the guitar.
